Are you in the Club?
Do you belong to a Home Owner’s Association, where you live? My condolences if you do. In all seriousness, HOA’s have gotten a bad reputation across the country. Even so, there are many good things about living in an HOA. Better maintained homes, sometimes parks and often a very nice Clubhouse. In some cases, you can actually rent rooms for parties and meetings in your neighborhood’s Clubhouse. What a great benefit for the homeowners! As long as your dues are current, the room isn’t used by one of your 2000 fellow residents and no one notices the donuts and juice you snuck in.
Clubhouse Usage…With Strings Attached
A great benefit? Not so fast. You may have the ability to request a room at your clubhouse, but with strings. The first issue generally limits what you can do, when you can do it and how. Most HOA’s have numerous stringent guidelines on usage. You may not be allowed to bring in outside food. Your function may be limited to only daylight hours. Often, electronic tools like streaming or wifi are poor or don’t exist. It is, after all, a Clubhouse for homeowners. Then you may experience “the look”. That is the cold shoulder reception you get from homeowners using the building while your event is there. Many residents are not fond of having “their” building used by outside folks. Even though you may be paying, you aren’t part of the “club”. Many facilities rent out unused space to help cover costs and lowering fees for residents. Unfortunately, this means that residents must share what they view as a private place and some resent it.
Join Our Club
You may not have access to a nice, well equipped Clubhouse. Not to fear, we built a club that anyone can belong to, The Beacon Center. No need to pay quarterly HOA dues. Special Assessments are non-existent. Best of all..no “look” from other users. We experienced many of the challenges of renting meeting or party space in Las Vegas ourselves, hence the creation of The Beacon Center.
You should ditch the Clubhouse rentals in Vegas scene and take a tour of our Center, Find out all the things that ARE allowed in our clubhouse, at a great price. We may not be neighbors, but we would love to have you join our club and best of all no quarterly dues.
