Personal Side of Your Business PhotoAre you in touch with the personal side of your business?

Remember when we used adding machines that ran rolls of paper? Now there are apps that do most of the work for you. Today’s article is about getting in touch with the personal side of your business. Now, this doesn’t mean abandon your laptop, high-speed internet, and smartphone. But, if you are burned out, looking for answers or need a fresh restart, try taking a look at the personal side of your business. You don’t have to abandon any tool or process you are using. Unless it isn’t working for you…then abandon away. Remember, it’s about relationships.

Remembering the Old Ways

Rather than worry about sales funnels, email programs and redirecting, try the personal touch. If you are stuck in your business model and need a way to refresh your mental aptitude, try focusing on the personal side of your business. Not apps and marketing programs.  Perhaps make some personal sales calls. Send a handwritten note thanking previous clients for their business. Invite a potential client to lunch, on your dime.  Remembering the old ways of business in terms of relationships and not technology will set you apart from others. [tweet_box design=”default” float=”right” width=”40%”]These small actions help get you back to the personal side of your business.[/tweet_box]

Back To The Future

Remember when you had to use a manual typewriter to create documents, and there was no spell-check? Today we use computers, as you know, everything changes in the business. Innovation has brought doing business forward at lightning speed. What has not kept pace is the personal side and refocusing on the personal side in your business can help you feel more in touch with the needs and wants of your customers. Afterall, everyone likes to be appreciated.

At The Beacon Center, that personal caring for our clients is part of our culture. We genuinely enjoy helping our customers have an informative meeting or a special event that makes memories for everyone who attends. If you want to see how we show our care and concerns for your successful event, just give us a call and schedule a personal tour of our facility.
