No matter what your budget is, you can have a successful event without breaking the budget. The key to the affordability is asking, What are you getting for your dollar?   1. Is the facility clean and professional: Consider what your guests will think when they walk in that really cheap place with the dirty carpet and dim lighting. Will your attendees feel like they are in a meeting room or a back room at a bar?
  2. What comes with the basic rental costs? Often times, organizers will sign a contract or agreement without looking at the fine print, costing them more in the long run. When booking a venue space in Vegas, take a look at what you get for your budget and what might cost you extra. Compare this between venue sites.
  3. Are my expectations realistic? Remember, the professional venue space you are looking for is a business, just like yours. There are fixed costs for every business, meeting venues are no different. No one can offer you space for free. Even if they do, they are making money in some other way, such as expecting your guests to buy meals. Remember, quality comes with a price tag.
