The Beacon Center is proud to announce that they have been nominated in two categories in the 2019 “Best Of Awards” competition sponsored by Unique Venues. The Beacon Center appears on the ballot in two categories for “Best Venue for LGBTQ – Friendly Events” as well as “Best Venue for Life Events” potential voters are encouraged to visit go.umd.edu/Vote_2019 and cast their votes in these two competitive categories. The “Best Of Awards” recognizes the standout conference and business centers, sports arenas, camps, and retreat centers. This includes other special event venues that made a lasting impression on guests.
More than 55,000 planners who regularly use the services provided by Unique Venues vote in a total of 22 categories and the nomination statements can be reviewed at go.umd.edu/NomStat2019 a comprehensive “Get Out the Vote” campaign is underway and will continue through July 31, 2019, when balloting will end and results will be published in November of 2019.
